world for all

World for All is an NGO based in Mumbai and they have a special place in my heart

because of the wonderful work they do to help Indie puppies and kittens find a home.

Over the years I have been a foster parent for their puppies

and photographed many young adoptable puppies and kittens for them.

Their team comprising of (but not limited to)

Taronish, Sharmee, Shahira, Swapnil and Nimisha is all-heart.

why i do it

In 2013, I had rescued two Indie puppies from people who wanted to drown them.

My lifestyle was not conducive for having pets at home and I struggled to find them a home.

I circulated phone photos of them to everyone I knew, but no luck.

Over a weekend, I took photographs of them with a much better camera, for fun. That evening I showed the new photos to someone who instantly decided to adopt them. Within a week they had moved and found their forever home.

This pattern repeated many times over, and I realised the impact good photos can have on successful pet adoptions.

While it's not a solution, it's definitely a step in the right direction.

On that note, there is no shortage of work that needs to be done in India to improve Stray Dog Welfare. If you are working towards Animal Welfare and see an opportunity to collaborate, please feel free to reach out to me.
