Role: Direction, Creative Direction, Script, Cinematography; for this short film that was based on my experience while visiting Nepal to support relief efforts after the 2015 earthquake.
Challenge
While I was in Nepal, I captured video footage (and photographs) as the country struggled to grapple with the aftermath of the horrific 2015 earthquake. In an effort to continue shedding a spotlight on the support Nepal would still need after the media attention dissipated, I created this short film that was released shortly after my return to India.
Solution
Ordinary people came together to make an extraordinary difference in helping the people of Nepal recover from the April 2015 Earthquake. This is a salute to those #NepalHeroes. The film was awarded multiple awards at film festivals and a photograph was featured by the United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan newsletter, UNews.
