This copper etching explores the contradictions in how humans express love. One figure cages birds in the name of affection, while another releases them. 'People Love Differently' confronts our moral choices, urging empathy and true freedom as the highest form of love. Solution
While illustrating a personal project I had in mind, this copper etching was created using various techniques, including drawing with drypoint and on liquid hard ground; etching in ferric chloride acid baths and creeping water bites before printing in a press. Size: 28cm x 35cm
